Rob Oldfield is an engineer, researcher, and entrepreneur based in Manchester, UK. Having spent 15 years in academia researching immersive audio and intelligent audio analysis tools, Oldfield co-founded and became CEO of Salsa Sound in 2017, developing and bringing to market their MIXaiR software –  a patented AI engine that automates and enhances audio mixing, as well as production and distribution.
