Michael Vernick is a senior solutions architect at JW Player. He has experience in content delivery, video streaming, and video communications, with time spent at Bell Labs Research, Avaya Labs Research, Ooyala, Golf Digest, and JW Player.

Vernick holds a PhD in computer science, has served on several standardization working groups in the multimedia and content delivery fields, and is an author/co-author of multiple publications, books, and patents in the technology space.
