Melissa Forman is co-founder of Impakt Partners with Allyson J. Davis, a women’s sports production, media, and purpose marketing company whose mission is to increase visibility in women’s sports. Impakt Partners has successfully produced and distributed Uphill Climb Film and is currently in development and production on a variety of women’s sports projects. Forman also serves as head of partnerships for Girls Soccer Network. She has had the privilege to EP projects from 37 Words, a Title IX documentary with Candace Parker to Lady Parts, which was nominated for a Critics Choice Award, to a Corona Doc Series that won a Clio. Previously, Forman served as the COO of Podium Pictures, an impact driven sports media company.

Prior to that, she served as SVP of development and production, original programing for Fox Sports. While there, Forman handled all original programming produced for FS1. She also has extensive experience producing sponsor supported original content, and special projects with partners including MLB, USGA, NASCAR, UFC, SLS, and Red Bull, as well as others. In addition, Forman was SVP of production and marketing for FUEL TV. She provided creative direction to all marketing and production entities ensuring all creative met the highest network standards. Before that, Forman was busy either creating, producing and/or directing for the following networks: YES Network, ESPNW, Tennis Channel, Fox Sports, NGC International, ESPN, and A&E.

Earlier in her career, Forman was vice president, special projects at Fox Sports and before that, the creative director, on-air promotions. During her tenure at Fox, she also developed and produced the critically acclaimed Under the Helmet, a series of anti-violence public service announcements for the NFL.

Forman has garnered seven Emmy awards, a Clio, a Cynopsis Award, and a Best Short Film Award at the Banff Mountain Film Festival, as well as numerous nominations. She began her career at MTV in New York.

Forman has two grown daughters and lives in Topanga Canyon, CA with her dog Penelope.
