Kenny Elcock is VP of engineering at the nation’s top regional sports network, New England Sports Network (NESN). He is responsible for designing and integrating network systems, as well as delivering quality programming and an enhanced game-time experience for viewers and fans of the Boston Red Sox and Boston Bruins.
A native of Trinidad and Tobago, Elcock grew up in the Virgin Islands. After graduating from Purdue University with a degree in electrical engineering technology, he spent two decades as director of engineering and operations at major broadcast affiliates in the Atlanta, Indianapolis, Honolulu, and Boston markets. With advanced professional certifications in broadcast, television, and motion picture engineering, Elcock is at the forefront of designing next-gen production workflows and systems.
Outside the world of broadcast technology, Elcock is happiest spending time with his wife and their adult children. He is also passionate about inspiring and mentoring the next generation of young engineers of color in technology and life.
