SVP, Business Development

Emily Sisson is senior vice president of business development for Octagon. In her role, she leads Octagon’s overarching business development efforts across North America, seeking to drive new business, expand existing relationships, and continue to grow the agency’s impressive list of Fortune 500 clients.

An industry veteran with nearly two decades of experience throughout the sports industry, Sisson has played a pivotal role in continuing to grow Octagon’s sports marketing and sponsorship practices. During her tenure with Octagon, Sisson has secured more than 100 new clients, including industry leaders such as Amazon, ADP, GEICO, Salesforce, Snickers, and Spotify, among a host of others.

Previously, Sisson served as vice president of marketing, overseeing numerous agency accounts, campaigns, and activations, including Cisco’s award-winning partnerships with the  U.S. Open, as well as Cisco’s sponsorship of “The Match.”

Throughout her career, she has also worked across integrated marketing, sponsorship, and business development for Lagardere Sports, the PGA Tour, and TPC Sawgrass.

A graduate of Nova Southern University, with a bachelor’s degree in finance, Sisson is based in Octagon’s Stamford, CT office.
