Dan Turk is the chief technology officer for NEP’s U.S. Media Services, responsible for overseeing all aspects of technology and ensuring technological resources meet NEP’s short- and long-term goals. As CTO, he works closely with NEP’s commercial and senior leadership teams, collaborating to make decisions and recommendations on technology adoptions and investments, including leading the research, development and implementation of technology strategies. Turk also serves as the U.S. lead on NEP’s Global Technology Steering Committee.

Turk joined NEP in January 2006 as a mobile unit engineer apprentice and has held several different roles in his 18 years with the company. He most recently held the position of vice president, chief engineer, successfully supporting technology transitions in the industry for 3D, UHD, and HDR, and Turk was a key player in growing the scale and technology complexity of facilities for major shows like the Super Bowl, The Masters Tournament, and the Oscars. He has provided support for hundreds of engineers domestically and globally, while also designing and creating customized solutions for clients using the latest technology.
