Born and raised in Savannah, Chad Reese has been attending baseball games at Historic Grayson Stadium since he was still in diapers. During the inaugural season of the Bananas in 2016, he worked in the concession stands flipping hamburgers and cooking hotdogs and wondered if this new team was going to be any good (spoiler: they were).

Reese then left Savannah to attend college at Georgia Southern University where he studied film and sports broadcasting. After an internship during the 2022 Banana Ball World Tour, and producing/directing live broadcasts for ESPN and the Bananas YouTube channel, he is back in Savannah, where he belongs, and has been able to bring the magic of his beloved hometown into the homes of thousands of fans across the globe.

The 2023 Banana Ball World Tour was broadcast entirely for free on YouTube as well as select games on ESPN2 and NESN, and surpassed over seven million views throughout the 87-game season. The Savannah Bananas utilized LiveU’s remote production technology to easily and effectively produce high-quality broadcasts throughout 33 cities, including some of the oldest and most historic ballparks in the world.
