Tom Sahara is a technology manager and operations executive with four decades of extensive live production experience, from the smallest of digital social media activations to the largest of international sports events.
Previously, Sahara was the vice president of operations and technology for Turner Sports where for over 20 years, he was responsible for the production operations such as NBA on TNT, MLB on TBS, Inside the NBA with Ernie Johnson, Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith and Shaquille O’Neal, Inside March Madness, and other sports productions.
Prior to Turner Sports, Sahara’s experience includes serving as the senior technical manager for three Olympics, (2002 Salt Lake Winter, 2000 Sydney Summer, and 1996 Atlanta Summer). He started his career as the technical director for The Don Ho Show, the renown Hawaiian entertainment star.
Sahara served as the chairman of the DTV Audio Group from 2012 – 2015 and in 2014, he was appointed to the Board of the SPSG. He was also appointed as the chairman of the SVG Advisory Board from 2013 – 2018.
