Scott Heitman graduated with a broadcast engineering degree from Napa Valley College and went on to work for Bob Weir of the Grateful Dead, building a video streaming and recording facility. In 2012, he helped launch Pac-12 Networks and managed their broadcast engineering team. In 2019, Heitman was hired by the Golden State Warriors as the director of scoreboard operations where he oversaw the construction and technology installation of the scoreboard control room at Chase Center. He continues to lead and provide oversight for all presentation video, audio, and LED display technology that support the in-arena production environment for Warriors games and other venue events.
