Matthew Halperin serves as director, sustainability for Fox Corporation. In this role, Halperin oversees the collection and management of the company’s carbon inventory. He is also responsible for implementing energy and waste reduction efforts across FOX Entertainment, FOX Sports, FOX News Media, and the FOX Studio Lot facility operations.
Additionally, Halperin spearheads environmental initiatives under senior management that guide the company’s sustainability strategy. He is also a key member of the cross-divisional teams that provide data for questionnaires from Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) ratings companies and FOX’s annual Corporate Social Responsibility reports.
Halperin represents FOX in environmentally focused industry organizations including Green Sports Alliance (GSA), Environmental Media Association (EMA), Sustainable Production Alliance (SPA), North American Broadcasters Association (NABA), and Clean Energy Buyers Association (CEBA).
Prior to joining FOX, Halperin provided Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) support for Paramount Pictures facility operations. Before that, he supported the EHS team on FOX Networks Group television productions, a division within 21st Century Fox.
