As the vice president of broadcasting for MLB, Mark Elinson oversees the technical operations of Pitchcast, Statcast, Virtual Advertising, and testing/deployment of emerging technologies. After 20 years with ESPN, Elinson has been with MLB for the past 10 years where he enjoys his time out in the field on Jewel Events as well as in Scottsdale heading the Spring Training/AFL compound. With four Emmys on his shelf, he is most passionate about helping MLB find and implement new technologies that enhance “America’s favorite pastime”.
