Komal Bhukhanwala has worked in the field of creative technologies for two decades in all forms from XR,VR, MR, and AR to most recently the implementation of generative AI within our workflow.

She is instrumental in pushing CBS Sports’ virtual tech innovations and leads the charge across the sports landscape innovation and advancement. Bhukhanwala, who oversees a team of designers, has pushed the boundaries for what is possible in a live broadcast with the introduction of AR into the CBS Sports landscape a decade ago. Since then, she’s expanded her means of storytelling through the use of real time technologies and has pushed the CBS Sports creative to new levels. Bhukhanwala was pivotal in the design of all Super Bowl sets in Vegas. Super Bowl 58 was the first Superbowl to use a wraparound package designed using Unreal Engine as a real time tool and a creative thread across the entire day. She oversaw the build of Las Vegas Boulevard in Unreal Engine and was able to use it in various XR / VR activations including the the Last Vegas Sphere.
