Brett Kaplan has had an extensive career within baseball both at Major League Baseball and MLB Network, spanning nearly 20 seasons. Kaplan started as an audio board operator and video editor at MLB.com, where he ultimately line-produced studio shows and covered various jewel events such as Spring Training, the All-Star Game, the MLB Draft, and the World Series.
Currently at MLB Network for the past six seasons, Kaplan’s role involves collaborating with engineers, developers, product, and media management teams to develop workflows aimed at delivering baseball content more effectively. His experience highlights a journey from hands-on production roles to more strategic involvement in content delivery and technology development within the industry.
